In general, every achievement requires trial and error. As youth, we need not feel ashamed of making mistakes in trying to find or win our place in social group. It is not easy to learn to fit into a group or to develop a personality that helps us to fit in. It is somewhat like learning to play a game like baseball or basketball. We can hardly expect to learn without making a good many mistakes in the process.

A cent is worth so little that we don't usually bother to pick it up on the street. It's difficult to gather between finger and thumb, and the reward seems hardly worth the effort. But, with a little extra effort, these little coins are picked up by goodwill organizations. One person picks up ten coins. ten people pick up 100 coins and so on until they turn into hundreds, thousands, even millions of dollars. All this money is being user to help thousands of homeless and hungry people around the world.

According to ancient lore, every man is born into the world with two bags suspended from his neck-one in front and one behind, and both are full of faults. But the one in front is full of his neighbor's faults: the one behind, full of his own. Consequently, men are blind to their own faults but never lose sight of their neighbors.
